A search is underway by investigators to locate a hit and run driver who struck and killed a man in Moreno Valley on a 60 Freeway off-ramp.
The California Highway Patrol reports that Caltrans crews found the deceased victim lying on the right shoulder of the Perris Boulevard off-ramp from the eastbound 60 at about 12:35 p.m. Tuesday, as they were doing maintenance.
According to CBS Los Angeles, investigators from the CHP and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department determined the man was the victim of a hit-and-run driver. They believe the suspect vehicle to be a 2004 to 2008 Chrysler Pacifica with possible front-end damage.
The victim was not identified and CHP did not give any information as to when the collision may have happened.
